Candle & Wax Melt Disclaimers

  • The specialty candles and wax melts that resemble food items, desserts, or beverages are not to be consumed by animals or humans. None of the items sold by Candlelit Concepts & More are edible and will cause harm if ingested.

  • The wax melts sold by Candlelit Concepts & More is only intended to be used in either an electric-powered wax warmer or a wax warmer powered by a light tea candle or oil tea light.

  • Do not burn a candle longer than 4 hours, and always keep the burning candle in sight at all times.

  • Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans, and air currents to prevent rapid, uneven burning, and avoid flame flare-ups and sooting.

  • Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room.

  • Never leave a candle or wax warmer unattended, and always keep it out of reach of children, pets, materials that can catch fire, and other heat sources.

  • Hot wax can cause burns. The candle containers and wax warmers can become hot and can cause burns.

  • The ingredients in candles and wax melts can cause skin irritation.

  • These products do contain beeswax! People with allergies should NOT use these products.

  • Always burn candles on a heat-resistant surface.

  • Do not burn candles near additional heat sources.

  • To achieve an even burn, burn-in 3–5 hour intervals or until a full melt pool forms. Keep the wax pool free of debris.

  • Always keep the wick properly trimmed (1/4”) to prevent soot and smoke from flame.

  • When the candle wax has burned down to approximately ½” of the base, the candle will become hotter from the flame, causing heat retention. Exercise caution when burning.

  • Never move your candle while it is burning or still hot. Only move it once the flame is extinguished and the wax has cooled. Pouring or removing liquid wax from the vessel may cause the wick to extinguish and affect the future burn quality of the candle.

  • You can avoid color fading, melting, or cracking by storing candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or fluorescent light. Do not freeze candles or wax melts as it can alter the chemical structure of the ingredients, negatively affecting the performance of the candle or wax melts.

  • Soy wax spills can be cleaned with ease. Use warm, soapy water.
